MILBY_Christmas break is right around the corner and everybody is excited for it because we have two weeks of break when we do not come to school.
Christmas break is the best of all holidays because that’s when we get more days off from school the entire year, besides our summer vacation. We get to spend time with family and friends. I think everybody likes the fact that we don’t have to wake up early, and oftentimes over the break we can wake up as late as we want.
Junior Jessica Jaimes said, “What I like most about Christmas break is that I get to spend more time with my family and sleep more.” Coach Roberts said, “I like getting recharged, and when we come back we have soccer season.” It also means we are getting closer to soccer season. JV and varsity girls are having practices during the break. That is more pressure for them. The girls soccer team are having two games during the break as well.
On the other hand some people don’t like these two weeks of winter break vacation because they prefer to be in school learning more and doing work. There are also those people that don’t really see the importance of Christmas so they prefer being anywhere else but with their family. Most people and students love it though- just like I do…
